DEMINERALIZATION PLANTS WITH ION EXCHANGE RESINS
These plants are used to demineralize and recycle water and to produce ultra-pure water.

RESINS DEMINERALIZATORS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PURE WATER.

Brochure SAITA demineralizator plants

These Demineralizators, once used for the production of demineralized water, are now much used for the demineralization and recycle of the washing water after the galvanic electrodeposition, for the final wash that preceed the painting or the air drying.

Saita boasts one of the largest production of this type of plants, with a wide range of standard models.

In particular a complete recycling demineralization plant is composed of:

  • one pumping group for the recycle of the treating water
  • one cartridge filter for the removal of the suspended solids
  • one carbon filter (optional) for the retention of the organic substances
  • one cationic resins filter for the cations removal
  • one week anionic resins filter
  • one strong anionic resins filter
  • Final mixed bed resins filter (in the case where water must be of a high purity, with coducibility lower then 1µS/cm).

The resins may retain an ions quantity equal to their exchanging capacity, once achieved this limit it is necessary to proceed with their regeneration.

The regeneration eluates of the resins are sent into one or more storage tanks, and they can be obtained on authorized company for the disposal or they can be treated with a Vacuum Evaporator plant to reduce the volumes of the eluates and recycle the distillate into the process.
