Powder coating

Water treatment solutions for the chemical cleaning of metal surfaces (aluminium, carbon steel, zinc galvanized steel) before powder coating applications. Recycling demineralizators for Chrome free or passivation rinses and oil separators or sludge filtrations for degreasing baths. Chemical-physical plants for effluents treatment or zero liquid discharge solutions with evaporators or Desulfate process.

Metallic wire production

Chemical surface treatments applied to the metallic wire production requires waste water treatment plants. SAITA produces chemical-physical plants for the effluents treatment and chemical baths filtration equipments. Since 2014 our latest innovation is the introduction of the Desulfate process for the zero discharge treatment of rinsing waters obtained from the wire’s pickling with sulphuric acid. We produce also crystallizers to clean pickling baths from the contamination of metals and salts.

Metalworking and die-casting

Treatment solutions for waste die-casting lubricant, oily emulsions, coolants, penetrant liquids and rinsing waters. Zero liquid discharge solutions for water recycling and oils disposals with vacuum evaporators and ultrafiltration plants for lubricants recovery. Saita offers also well water pre-treatment plants, such as reverse osmosis and nanofiltration. New vacuum drying system of metal components for washing lines application.

Batteries and accumulators

In the lead-acid batteries manufacturing field, SAITA provides its clients with plants and solutions for the treatment of waste water polluted with lead and sulphates, as well as demineralization plants for the production of demineralized water and automatic dilution plants for concentrated sulphuric acid. Continuous dilutors with a capacity of 2000 lt/h of diluted acid or Batch dilutors with a capacity of 120 tons per month.

Chemical and pharmaceutical industries

SAITA designs and develops new plants for the treatment of waste or process streams with the aim of raw materials’ recovery. Reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, evaporators and distillation columns for alcool or solvents are some of the solutions proposed. We use simulators and small-scale pilot plants in order to collect and develop information for the industrialisation of the plants.

Photovoltaic, electronics and semiconductors

Saita operates in various silicon-manufacturing industries, such as: electronics, semiconductors and photovoltaics, presenting different solutions for the waste water treatment, recycle and discharge. Demineralization plants for the production of ultra pure water and more specifically, in 2008, we installed the first zero discharge plant, IWT system, for the treatment of waste water resulting from the production of photovoltaic multicrystalline cells.

Remediation of polluted areas

First Rain

SAITA provides plants and solutions for the decontamination of first rain waters from: suspended solids, oils, hydrocarbons, and dissolved metals, in order to reach the discharge limits, fixed by the local environmental regulations. We also provide custom designed solutions for collecting, treating and filtering contaminated water.
