Description:
Electrodeionization system composed of 2 parallel skids with EDI cells, designed to produce 10,000 L/h of high-purity demineralized water for a steam generator. Installed at a major fruit juice production company in Northern Italy. The redundant system treats water downstream of a reverse osmosis unit and features continuous monitoring of both flow rate and resistivity of the demineralized water produced.
Technical characteristics:
2x parallel skids, each with a capacity of 10,000 L/h
EDI (Electrodeionization) cells
Siemens PLC and HM
Highlights:
Water resistivity >15 MΩ·cm
