Description:
Waste water treatment and recycling plant for a new PCB factory
One of the largest PCB factory projects developed in Europe in recent years, this installation includes a complete wastewater treatment and recycling plant.
This unique project was designed as a benchmark for innovation in the PCB industry. The most advanced technologies were implemented to enable the recycling of over 50% of the water used in PCB manufacturing processes.
The main objective was to treat all wastewater streams in full compliance with local discharge limits while minimizing overall water consumption. To achieve this, a detailed process study was carried out to segregate the wastewater streams according to pollutant type, origin, and concentration. The most suitable and advanced technologies were then applied to each stream, ensuring maximum efficiency in pollutant removal and water recovery.
Technical characteristics:
Maximum capacity: 50,000 L/hour
Low-temperature vacuum evaporators
Duplex ion exchange systems for water recycling
Continuous chemical-physical treatment for alkaline and acidic rinses
Batch chemical-physical treatment for concentrated solutions
Automatic chemical preparation and dosing stations
Fully automatic filterpresses for sludge dewatering
Highlights:
Recovery of over 50% of water
Remote assistance via ethernet
Tablet-based HMI for real-time monitoring of WTP operations
